Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!
I am Sharon Jenkins, the proud Principal of Hiawassee Elementary School. My vision for Hiawassee is to provide a safe learning environment for all students; to ensure that our students are provided with rigorous standard-based lessons so they can reach their highest academic potential and to develop resilient students that will become lifelong learners.
Please help our scholars by ensuring that they have a quiet place to study and by monitoring their classroom and homework assignments. Daily attendance is also very important.
I am confident that with the support of our families we can meet and exceed our school improvement goals.
