Welcome to a new year of opportunities at Hiawassee Elementary!

As we celebrate maintaining our **State Grade of "B" for the second consecutive year—the first time in our school's history—we are reminded that excellence is not achieved by chance. It is the result of a dedicated staff, supportive families, determined students, and a shared commitment to continuous growth. This accomplishment proves that our success is not just a moment...it's a movement.
This year, our theme, Level Up: Rise • Grow • Achieve, challenges each of us to take learning and leadership to the next level. Together, we will rise by setting high expectations, grow through meaningful collaboration and continuous learning, and achieve by providing every student with engaging, rigorous instruction and the support they need to reach their fullest potential.
At Hiawassee Elementary, we believe every child can succeed. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, embrace challenges, and celebrate growth. Through strong relationships, data-informed instruction, and a focus on academic excellence, we will continue preparing students for success today and in the future.
